About the job
Jane Street are seeking Quantitative Traders to aid them in identifying and trading on price discrepancies, creating algorithms, managing risks, investigating new products, and branching out into new business areas. Their trading activities are driven by their exclusive proprietary models, and on active trading days, they execute over a million trades across 200 trading venues globally.
Their trading desks play a significant role in their collaborative and inclusive office culture. Expect to work closely with experienced Traders who are dedicated to mentoring, guiding, and supporting new members from day one. Through immersive, hands-on training, newcomers will be assigned considerable trading responsibilities within weeks to months of joining the desk. At the same time, they will participate in the company’s comprehensive annual educational program.
They consider an effective trading strategy to be only as robust as the technology it operates on, viewing themselves as much a technology firm as a trading company. While a familiarity with a specific programming language is not a requirement, general programming experience is a bonus.

Base salary is $300,000. Base salary is only one part of Jane Street total compensation, which includes an annual discretionary bonu
