Overview

In this role, supporting Susquehanna’s growing ETF sales team, you will be an integral part of a team that directly prices ETFs and Futures for institutional clients. This multifunctional role involves close collaboration with traders and sales traders to ensure optimal pricing. It also encompasses handling orders throughout the entire post-trade processes, from the quote request stage onwards.

In the role you will

• Collaborate closely with clients, market makers, and sales team to execute client trades at optimal levels
• Analyze trading behaviors and patterns
• Manage relationships with existing clients to address any arising issues
• Contribute to strengthening client relationships through excellent, clear service
• Help enhance internal processes to drive the efficiency and scalability of tasks related to client execution
• Create automated, semi-automated, and ad hoc reports to support their trading

What SIG is looking for

• A 3rd level degree, ideally in a finance-related discipline
• Experience with analytics within a financial services internship or graduate program is a distinct advantage
• Scripting or familiarity with a coding language (preferably Python)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Capability to work under pressure and multitask
• Ambitious and self-motivated, not afraid to ask questions and take initiative
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills, including competent troubleshooting in a fast-paced, time-critical environment
• A keen interest in financial markets is crucial. Knowledge of ETFs and equity derivatives products is beneficial
• Demonstrable interest in, and some knowledge of macroeconomic environment/political event/market themes etc.
• Additional European language would be an advantage
