Akuna Capital Trading Interview Process Overview

If you want to become a trader at Akuna Capital, you first have to go through several challenging stages of their trading interview process. The process consists of six distinct stages, each designed to evaluate different aspects of your skills and fit for the role:

  1. Akuna Capital Online Assessment – HackerRank Math Test
After reviewing your application, you’ll receive the Akuna Capital HackerRank Math Test consisting of:
    • Akuna Math Test

    • Akuna Sequences Test
Involves 24 questions over 12 minutes. These aren’t just numerical sequences.
  2. Akuna Capital HackerRank Coding Test
Pass the first assessment to unlock the coding test, which evaluates your programming skills.
  3. VidCruiter Video Interview
A unique assessment featuring a letter-betting game and recorded video responses.
  4. Technical Phone Interview
Interview with a trader covering brainteasers, market making, probability, and derivatives.
  5. Recruitment Interview
Behavioral interview focusing on cultural fit and soft skills.
  6. Final Round
Comprehensive 3-4 hour interview revisiting all previous elements plus deeper HR questions.

The Akuna Capital sequences test involves 24 questions over 12 minutes. These aren’t just numerical sequences.

As stated before, exercising is key, and you can start preparing with our Company Preparations Course.

Stage 2: HackerRank Coding Test

The HackerRank Coding Test serves as Akuna Capital’s second technical screening tool. This assessment evaluates your programming proficiency, algorithmic thinking, and ability to solve problems efficiently, which all are critical skills for trading roles at Akuna Capital.

The assessment typically consists of 2-3 coding problems that range from easy to medium difficulty levels. Your total amount of time will depend on the questions. Filter the Akuna Capital questions on programming in our questions bank to practice with similar difficulty-level problems.

Stage 3: VidCruiter Video Interview

The VidCruiter Video Interview is not a common test and it’s most likely something you didn’t ever encounter before. Akuna constructed an original letter-betting game, which you can prepare for at our platform.
