Chicago Trading Company, widely known as CTC, is a proprietary trading firm established in 1995. It began on Chicago’s exchange floors and is now a leading options market maker, operating from “a former trading floor that’s now a busy hive of collaboration”.

CTC brings together trading, quantitative research, technology and operations teams under one roof, and is committed to “the highest standards, in our effort, our ingenuity, and our integrity” when tackling complex market problems. Its core business is pricing and risk-managing large books of listed derivatives.

The firm maintains a presence in four major financial centres: Chicago, New York, London and Amsterdam. CTC is a well-established name on the quant and trading campus circuit, and runs structured graduate programmes for traders, quantitative researchers and software engineers.
