Cumberland

Cumberland is the digital asset arm of DRW, the Chicago proprietary trading firm founded in 1992. After making its first bitcoin trade in 2010, Cumberland was formally launched in 2014 to become a counterparty of choice for institutional investors in cryptoassets.

The firm provides “deep, dependable liquidity” across dozens of cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, and is a leading provider for block trading and exchange-traded derivatives as well as bilateral crypto options and non-deliverable forwards. Counterparties trade via voice, chat, its proprietary electronic platform Marea, and API, with 24/7 access.
