Galaxy Digital

Galaxy Digital is a financial services and investment management firm focused on digital assets and blockchain technology, founded in 2018 by Mike Novogratz, a former Goldman Sachs partner and Fortress principal. It was conceived as a full-service investment bank for crypto, spanning trading, lending, asset management, staking and venture investing.

Headquartered in New York, Galaxy is one of the few publicly listed firms operating at institutional scale in digital assets, and aims to bridge traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets. Its trading desk provides liquidity and execution to institutional counterparties, while its asset management arm runs several billion dollars of client capital.

The firm operates from New York alongside Chicago, San Francisco, London, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Because it spans investment banking, trading, asset management and infrastructure, Galaxy recruits across a broader range of profiles than a pure market maker, including traders, engineers, researchers and traditional finance professionals.
