About DV Trading
DV Trading is a global liquidity provider founded in Toronto in 2006 by Dino Verbrugge. It trades exchange and over-the-counter commodity futures, fixed income, equities, options, foreign exchange and cryptocurrency products, deploying its own capital across both quantitative and discretionary strategies.
From 2007 the firm operated as a subsidiary of Chicago futures commission merchant Rosenthal Collins Group, before principals Jared Vegosen and Dino Verbrugge took full ownership in 2016. It has scaled quickly since, and now runs several divisions: DV Trading for proprietary trading, DV Securities for counterparty funding, DV Commodities for energy and emissions, and DV Investment Management.
Chicago serves as headquarters, with further offices in New York, London, Toronto, Miami, Houston, Dubai and the Bahamas. DV emphasises disciplined capital deployment, rigorous risk controls and regulatory adherence, and says it aims to create “an environment that allows our team members to compound on both personal and professional success”.
