The Jump Trading interview process
Jump Trading's quant trader process has no online test: after your application, every round is a live interview with traders or researchers. The number of rounds differs between offices and candidates, but the core stays the same: probability questions that grow through follow-ups. The first video interview is built around those questions and ends with a conversation about your experience. Some candidates have a short recruiter call before it, and some a second video interview after it. The final round is an in-person interview day of three or four technical interviews on probability, brainteasers, statistics and coding.
