How many cards are there in a 100-story house of cards?

The bottom floor has 100 houses and the top floor has 1 house. To sum up the amount of houses, we use the summation rule: \begin{equation} \frac{100*101}{2} = 5050 \end{equation} Every house has three cards, except the bottom floor. So, in total we have: \begin{equation}3*5050-100=15050 \; cards \end{equation}
