Founded in 1998, All Options is a specialized proprietary trading firm based in Amsterdam and Austin, TX. We are fully regulated and trade our own capital as a liquidity provider (market maker) on all major European option exchanges. We have recently opened an office in Austin to expand our market making activities in the US market.

The Role
The Junior Quantitative Trader works in a team with Traders right on the trading floor. You spend your first weeks in a structured training program to learn about options, market making and delta 1. Within a few months, you play a key role in developing automated analysis programs and trading algorithms. You are versatile, flexible, and highly creative to think of new innovative solutions.
What to Expect
You will start with a probationary 6-month comprehensive training program consisting of extensive training, learning both advanced theory and market making practice on- the-job.
- The first 4 weeks you begin with learning all the ins and outs of option theory, the trading systems/tools and performing trade analyses.
- After 4 weeks you will put that knowledge to the test and start working on a quantitative project to improve our trading.
- Periodic assessments will be evaluated throughout the 6-month training program.
- Upon graduating from the training program, you will join one of our Quant Trading teams.
Who You Are
- You possess a Quantitative degree, for example in Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science in your pocket.
- You have excellent numerical and problem solving / analytical skills. Knowledgeable of any programming language. You are an excellent (python) programmer.
- You have a strong interest in option trading and financial markets, demonstrated through courses attended at university and trading (work) experience.
- You analyze trades and improve execution based on analytics.
- You formulate innovative trading strategies and, in close collaboration with our traders and software engineers, develop trading models and tools that allow us to capitalize on opportunities.
- You design and implement complex quantitative models and automated trading algorithms. You use Python as the main tool to understand and apply relevant financial and statistical theory.
- You proactively take part in building and maintaining our internal code libraries.
- You build and maintain code that helps deliver historical and real-time insights to trading and management.
- You share your knowledge with the team, and you are responsible for transferring knowledge and best practices.
- You are willing to relocate to Austin, Texas
