Basic Concepts of Machine Learning

Machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence that provides systems the ability to learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. The goal of machine learning is to enable machines to learn and make decisions on their own. For instance, Netflix’s recommendation system uses machine learning. The system learns from the viewing behaviors of its users and then provides personalized recommendations based on what it has learned. This lesson introduces the basic concepts of machine learning.
