The Flow Traders online assessment includes a timed mental math test, and this tool mirrors it exactly: the same style of questions and the same scoring you will face on the day. You get 60 questions to answer in 6 minutes, one at a time with no skipping, so train for both speed and accuracy.

Read the question
Each question shows one mental arithmetic problem (integers, decimals or fractions) with multiple answer choices.

Answer in order
Pick the correct option. Questions come one at a time and you cannot skip or go back.

Beat the clock
Work through as many of the 60 questions as you can within 6 minutes.

No calculator
You cannot use a calculator in the real test, so train without one. Feel free to use pen and paper.

Each wrong answer subtracts one point, so only commit when you are confident.

Questions you do not reach score nothing, neither for nor against you.
Your score is correct answers minus wrong answers across the 60 questions. Because a wrong answer costs a point, guessing wildly hurts you, so balance speed against accuracy the same way you would in the real assessment.
