The Maven Securities online assessment includes a timed mental math test, and this tool prepares you for it: 50 open questions to answer in 5 minutes. There are no answer choices, you type in every answer yourself, and questions cover the full mix of arithmetic Maven tests, from the basic operations to fractions, percentages and comparisons. Train for both speed and accuracy.

Each question shows one mental arithmetic problem. There are no answer choices: you type in your answer yourself.

Answer in order
Submit your answer to move on. Questions come one at a time and you cannot skip or go back.

Beat the clock
Work through as many of the 50 questions as you can within 5 minutes.

No calculator
You cannot use a calculator in the real test, so train without one. Feel free to use pen and paper.

Your score is simply the number of correct answers across the 50 questions. There is no negative marking, so an educated guess is always better than leaving a question blank. Speed matters most: keep moving and do not get stuck on a single question.
