Overview
SIG's online assessment for Quantitative Trading and Quantitative Research roles has 17 questions in 60 minutes: mostly probability and expected value, plus brain teasers and logic puzzles. You can answer them in any order, they get harder towards the end, and a calculator, pen and paper are allowed. This practice gives you 17 questions in 60 minutes, so the emphasis is on careful, correct problem-solving rather than speed.

Your practice score is correct answers minus wrong answers across the 17 questions, with skips counting zero. SIG does not publish how the real assessment is scored. Because a wrong answer costs a point here, skipping a puzzle you cannot crack beats guessing wildly. You have plenty of time per question, so use it: careful, correct reasoning wins this assessment.
