Overview
SIG asks candidates for its Quantitative Research and Trading role to complete the SIG Problem Solving Assessment as the first round of the application process. The real test gives you 17 questions to answer in 60 minutes, combining puzzles and probability questions. This tool mirrors that format and scoring so you can train with questions similar to those in the actual assessment. With the generous time limit, the emphasis is squarely on careful, correct problem-solving rather than speed.
Game Phases
1
Read the question Each question is a puzzle or a probability problem, in the style of the real Problem Solving Assessment.
2
Pick your answer Choose the correct option from the multiple answer choices.
3
Navigate freely You can move through the questions and complete them in any order. Skipping is allowed and scores zero for that question.
4
Beat the clock Work through the 17 questions within 60 minutes. Feel free to use pen and paper, but leave the calculator alone.
